Self-Help Resources Terms of Use

By viewing, accessing, downloading, using, or attending any Self-Help Resource, you agree to follow and be bound by these terms of use (the “Self-Help Terms of Use”).
In these Self-Help Resources Terms of Use, the word “you” refers to anyone using a Self-Help Resource. The words “we”, “us”, and “our” refers to Paul Freeman Law PLLC, our attorneys, staff, agents, successor, heirs, and assigns.
The term “Self-Help Resource” means any legal forms, documents, instructions, comments, articles, printed material, videos, events, presentations, or any other information created, presented, or published by Paul Freeman Law PLLC.
If you do not agree to these Self-Help Resources Terms of Use, do not use any of the Self-Help Resources.

1. Texas Law

THE SELF-HELP RESOURCES ARE FOR TEXAS RESIDENTS AND BUSINESSES ONLY.
All Self-Help Resources are based on Texas law only. Do not use these resources if you do not reside in Texas or if your business is not located in Texas.

2. Attorney-Client Relationship

Nothing in these Self-Help Resources Terms of Use establishes an attorney-client relationship between you and us.
THERE IS NO SUBSTITUTE FOR INDIVIDUAL LEGAL ADVICE FROM A LICENSED ATTORNEY.

Information you provide as a publicly available comment on our Website or at a public event is not protected by attorney-client privilege. It can be used against you in a legal proceeding.
You waive your rights to confidentiality, waive your rights to attorney-client privilege, and assume all other risks when providing information to be publicly available.
If your publicly available comment includes a question regarding a legal issue, we are not obligated to answer your question. If we do provide an answer regarding a legal issue, you assume the risk that the answer may not be complete or applicable to your individual circumstances.

None of the Self-Help Resources may be copied, reproduced, republished, downloaded, uploaded, posted, displayed, transmitted or distributed in any way and nothing on this Site shall be construed to confer any license under any of Paul Freeman Law PLLC intellectual property rights, whether by estoppel, implication or otherwise. Any rights not expressly granted herein are reserved by Paul Freeman Law PLLC.

PAUL FREEMAN LAW PLLC MAKES NO WARRANTY THAT: (1) THE SELF-HELP RESOURCES WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS; (2) THE SELF-HELP RESOURCES WILL ALWAYS BE AVAILABLE AND WILL BE WITHOUT ERROR; (3) THAT YOU WILL OBTAIN YOUR INTENDED RESULT BY USING THE SITE OR SELF-HELP RESOURCES; OR (3) THE QUALITY OF ANY INFORMATION OR SELF-HELP RESOURCES WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS.

6. INDEMNITY

YOU WILL HOLD PAUL FREEMAN LAW PLLC HARMLESS FOR ANY INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGE, HOWEVER IT ARISES (INCLUDING ATTORNEYS’ FEES AND ALL RELATED COSTS AND EXPENSES OF LITIGATION AND ARBITRATION, OR AT TRIAL OR ON APPEAL, IF ANY, WHETHER OR NOT LITIGATION OR ARBITRATION IS INSTITUTED), WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, NEGLIGENCE, OR OTHER TORTIOUS ACTION, OR ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THIS AGREEMENT, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY CLAIM FOR PERSONAL INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE, ARISING FROM THIS AGREEMENT AND ANY VIOLATION BY YOU OF ANY FEDERAL, STATE, OR LOCAL LAWS, STATUTES, RULES, OR REGULATIONS, EVEN IF PAUL FREEMAN LAW PLLC HAS BEEN PREVIOUSLY ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE.

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

EXCEPT AS PROHIBITED BY LAW, IF THERE IS LIABILITY FOUND ON THE PART OF PAUL FREEMAN LAW PLLC, IT WILL BE LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT PAID FOR THE SELF-HELP RESOURCE, AND UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL THERE BE CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
We may revise these Self-Help Resources Terms of Use at any time without notice to you. It is your responsibility to review these Self-Help Resources Terms of Use any time you use any Self-Help Resource.
